Als meine Labrador Hündin Emma einzog war an Dummysport oder jagdliche Arbeit noch nicht zu denken. Sie war einfach DER Familienhund.
Über den Weg der Grundausbildung begann auch mich das Virus der Dummyarbeit zu packen. Ich besuchte einige Workingtests, Anfangs noch als Zuschauer, Fotograf und Helfer. Dann folgten die ersten Starts mit noch sehr bescheidenem Erfolg.

 

Heute führe ich zwei Labrador Retriever aktiv. Eine Hündin aus unserem C-Wurf und einen Rüden, dieser verstärkt unser Rudel seit 2018.
Ob Workingtests, Dummy-Prüfungen, Field Trials, jagdliche Prüfungen oder bei der Jagd, überall konnten wir Erfolge verzeichnen, aber auch sehr viele Erfahrungen sammeln.

 

Seit 2015 bin ich offiziell Leistungsrichter im Deutschen Retriever Club e.V.

 

Ich freue mich besonders den Nord Cup 2019 richten zu dürfen.

My name is Frank Hermansen and I live in Stavanger on the beautiful south-west coast of Norway. I have been judging retrievers for 18 years and have had the honor to judge cold game tests, WT’s, Field Trial's and various championships all over Scandinavia and most of Europe. I am also a FCI judge and judged in 2015 the Coupe d’Europe for Retrievers. I started up with retrievers 28 years ago. The first

 

20 years I trained and entered several Flatcoats in elite (Open) class at cold game test, FT’s and working tests, and for the last eight years, I have been training and handling Labradors.

 

 

 

I have been part of the Norwegian team to Skinner’s, IWT, Coupe d’Europe and Nordic Championships with my Flatcoats and Labradors on several occasions.

Mein erster  Labrador zog im Herbst 2002 ein, eine gelbe Hündin aus Standardlinien. Mit ihr begann mein Interesse am Dummy, aber auch an der jagdlichen Arbeit. Seitdem sind viele Jahre vergangen, der Spaß und die Freude, mit meinen Hunden als Team zusammenzuwachsen, sie auszubilden, in ihrer und unserer gemeinsamen Entwicklung zu sehen, ist geblieben.

 

Heute leben drei Hündinnen unterschiedlichen Alters bei mir, die ich selbst gezüchtet habe: Cookie (Never change Dacota, *März 08), ihre Tochter Goya (Nc Goyah, *Oktober 13) und der Nachwuchs Harper (Nc Illinois Harper, *Februar 18). Ich führe alle meine Hunde häufig und gerne auf Workingtests und Mock Trials , aber auch auf Jagdprüfungen, mal mehr, aber auch mal weniger erfolgreich. Ein Hund ist eben keine Maschine, sondern hat, genau wie wir Menschen, eine Tagesform. Im Herbst gehen wir gerne zu Enten- und Fasanenjagden und auch dort zeigen meine Hündinnen alle eine große Passion.

 

Den NordCup kenne ich bisher nur aus der Teilnehmerperspektive und deshalb freue ich mich besonders, in diesem Jahr mal auf die Richterseite zu wechseln. Vielen Dank für die Einladung!

I am very honoured to be invited to judge Nord Cup 2019.

 

I have been working, training and handling gundogs for 40 years. In this periode I have judged on numerous occasions in Europa including Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Italy – and more.

 

I have been judging since 1990 and today I am an International Judge. I have been judging the Danish Championship 6 times.

 

Right now I have 2 labradors – Niko and Stoney (Lockthorn Zippo Stoney) – Stoney is both Hunting Champion as well as Champion on Cold Game.

 

I have participated for Denmark at IWT in Hungary, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Finland. Best result was a third place in Hungary.

 

Also I was a member of the danish group that won the Nordic Championship in 2016 in Denmark. And also winner in Finland 2018.

 

Furthermore I use my 2 dogs in the hunting season.

 

 

First of all,I thank you for the invitation to come and judge your Nord Cup.

 

I am looking forward to come again and meet some nice people.

 

 

 

I started running my dogs on trails in 1996. I have made 4 Labradors to field trail champions. I won the Danish Championship once and once Runner Up and a 3.rd. I enjoy participating working tests and field trails. I have several times participated on IWT and once I have participated on Skinners cup.

 

I started judging in 2006 and am Panel A judge.
